PENGARUH TERAPI AKUPRESUR PADA TITIK SACRAL POINT (B27-B34) TERHADAP INTENSITAS NYERI HAID PADA REMAJA PUTRI DI MTS HASANUDDIN CLUMPRIT KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract

Menstrual pain is a discomfort or cramping in the lower abdomen that occurs before or during menstruation. Dysmenorrhea can range from mild to severe, sometimes disrupting daily activities. A dominant factor associated with the occurrence of menstrual pain is lack of knowledge; more than 50% of women in the country experience pain during menstruation. The incidence of menstrual pain ranges from 45-95% among productive women. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of acupressure therapy on the sacral point (B27-B34) towards menstrual pain intensity in adolescent girls at Hasanuddin Clumprit Islamic Junior High School, Malang Regency. This research employs a One-group Pre-Test and Post-Test design with a population of 28 individuals. Consecutive sampling method is used for sample selection. Data analysis is conducted using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the Test Statistics output, it is found that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) p-value is 0.000 < (0.05), thus it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, indicating an influence of Acupressure Therapy on the Sacral Point (B27-B34) towards Menstrual Pain Intensity in Adolescent Girls at Hasanuddin Clumprit Islamic Junior High School, Malang Regency.
